I hate this trend on tumblr where someone disagrees with something and so they make these stupid posts where they just reply with a reaction gif, or make comics with the punchline “NOPE YOU ARE WRONG I AM RIGHT.” this says literally nothing except “I disagree.” These posts get tens of thousands of notes. I see them on my dash every day. The only reason these posts are successful is because many people agree with the general point. Nobody learns or challenges anything. And if you wanted to make people see things your way, this is the worst way to go about it and I hope this post demonstrates that.That’s not good enough. If you can’t reasonably defend your beliefs with evidence, you need to take a long, hard look at yourself. -- source link
