dreambob: Ok I look at too many “realistic” Yoshi, and thought I should tossed my hat into it. I may have took this too serious. I have spent too much think about Yoshi’s features and how they could be interpreted. So here’s a description of this realistic Yoshi:Yoshidon (Yoshi tooth) Y. Nintendo Yoshidon is an Ornithopoda that was discovered in 1990, named and described by Shigefumi Hino, in Japan. When Mr Hino first discovered the specimen, his findings were based off of the teeth that he had found. Then a couple of years later Mr Hino, went back to the sight and found a mostly complete skeleton of the creature. Yoshidon lived in the Early Cretaceous period, Japan. Yoshidon is thought to be an omnivore with the main sources of their diet being termites and ants. This was supported by fossil evidence from an old fossilized termites nests with claw marks from the Yoshidon. However it’s not impossible that Yoshidon had a varied diet. The hump on Yoshidon has baffled scientists. The popular theory is that it’s for natural selection, some say its for fat and other hypothesis that it is for self defense/protection or to appear bigger than they are. This creature is a fantastic shape, a good friend! This definitely looks like something you could tame and ride on adventures with -- source link
