rcmmacgregor:We expect to be in control of our internet experience. When we use the Internet, we want Net Neutrality. Net Neutrality is the fundamental principle that prohibits internet service providers like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon from speeding up, slowing down or blocking any content, applications or websites you want to use. The upshot is that ISPs could censor information, or slow down access to those who cannot shell out big bucks to access it at top/ideal speeds. This will make things difficult for small businesses that sell/market online, for people to apply for jobs or to colleges, and/or to organise against or for issues they want to protest or promote. -- source link
