#Repost @decolonizing_fitness (@get_repost)・・・Reminder to white folks who reach out to assist me: You may be (unintentionally) causing harm by co-opting my language, thoughts, ideas…and building movements before I even have an opportunity to craft a framework or develop a praxis around it.—I get it you can mobilize a lot quicker than I can cause you have the labor and the resources.—However, the work put out (specific to Trans & Queer People of Color) needs to be led by us..not y’all.—So instead of reaching out to me to get my info, wisdom…for me to share all of my experiences with you…only for you to capitalize off it.
