Long sleeves finished at the hand by a rouleau; shoulder puffs interspersed with jet beads. Skirt bottom cut in broad scollops and ornamented with embroidered crape roses and leaves. Head-dress of a long veil and jet ornamentation, consisting of a rose and aigrette. Shamois leather gloves and shoes.Walking DressRound dress of black bombasine, without a collar; long sleeves with white crape weepers. Skirt finished with a black crape flounces, disposed in large plaits and surmounted by a broad band of bias crape. Spencer of black cloth, ornamented in black crape, disposed in large plaits at the bottom of the waist. High standing collar rounded in front, edged with a light trimming of black crape. Long loose sleeves, finished with black crape trimming, surrounded by epaulettes draperied with black cord and ornamented with small tassels. Bonnet of black crape; edge of brim finished with a row of hollow plaits, crown trimmed to correspond. White crape frill stands up round the throat.
