paradife-loft:Finished Object week! I think I must have completed this sweater, mm… a week and a half ago? It’s the first sweater I’ve ever made; I’m pretty pleased with it.It’s of course entirely unseasonable though for now and I have no idea what possessed me to put it on for a photo in this 97 degree weather, but…The design is mostly based on the Blacker Designs V-Neck or Rounded Neck Sleeveless Tunic pattern available for free on Ravelry, minus a couple of things I did slightly differently (some decreases in the armhole ribbing; knitting the body as one piece in the round instead of separate front and back pieces to sew together because I’m laaaaaazyyyyy….).And of course, the subtle textured Feanorian star outline on the front, which I designed myself and will put up the instructions for hopefully soon once I stop slacking off and give it a last round of edits :)Yarn is just a bit over 3 skeins of Malabrigo Rios in Pearl Ten (for the 32″ size) - the bottom picture shows the most accurate depiction of the actual colour of the thing; for comparison, the top two are really washed out from bright sunlight and the blanket it’s laying on in the first picture is really a deep burgundy.
