Inspired by acclaimed Iranian architect Nader Khalili’s “Superadome”, a type of rammed earth construction using woven polyester bags filled with sand, soil, or clay, this multi-purpose touristic development on Hormuz Island was sustainably designed by Tehran-based @zavarchitects as a reflection of the island’s unique morphology. Clusters of smaller and larger pointed domes, vibrantly painted blood-red, yolk-yellow, sky blue, and sea green hues both externally and internally, comprise a unique setting that creatively captures the island’s extraordinary natural beauty while providing accommodation for 84 guests.
