1992 - Porco RossoKiki’s Delivery Service is my favorite Ghibli film at the moment but Porco Rosso has been very close on its tail for a long time. I could watch this film a million times and never get bored of it which granted is true of most Miyazaki movies, but the Adriatic is so beautifully realized here I always get lost in it.Porco Rosso also has my favorite Ghibli romance, the mature one between Porco and Madame Gina. The scene where he flies over her garden and she flashes back to her first time riding on a plane with him might be one of my favorite individual scenes in any movie ever. It just makes me so… happy!It also has my favorite Joe Hisaishi soundtrack which is saying A LOT. -- source link
