nymphoninjas: Hello Ninja & Trouble (and Owen!) Today’s submission took some bravery on my part. There’s a state park nearby, with some tall reeds that T’s been dying to shoot in. We’ve also been playing with the idea of shooting outside in the snow. Temperatures finally tiptoed above freezing this morning, so T packed up some of his gear and we ventured out. Above freezing or not, it was still really cold! (If you look close, you can see the goose bumps!) I’m still figuring out this modeling business - I get really self-conscious and goofy, and never know what do with myself. My default seems to be “awkwardly silly.” But afterwards, looking through the shots, there are a few that I actually like. I’m glad we braved the snow and cold… I actually really like the way my body looks from this angle, and that some of my hard-earned muscles are visible. I look strong and confident, and maybe even sexy! Sometimes I think I’m starting to see myself the way T sees me. Thanks for hosting SS, and giving many of us a reason to step outside our comfort zone :) C2C You definitely are brave for venturing out in the cold, if anything else! Shooting outdoors can be a lot of fun, what I prefer really, but be careful in state parks. I’ve gotten a ticket for being naked in the woods and it’s not too much fun to deal with. It makes me happy to see you sticking with making silly photos and how positive you feel about your body. It’s really inspiring!
