laur-rants:For: todisturbtheuniverse’s MEBB story, Event Horizon. Artist Notes: I had just finished the Mass Effect series for the first time when I saw the MEBB call for artists. It felt like fate; as soon as the writer snippets were posted I was feverishly sifting through them, looking for a story that would challenge me as an artist as well as give me great scenes with lots of potential. When I found universe’s story, I knew immediately it was the one I wanted. I have not regretted my decision in the slightest. Universe is a wonderful writer, a great person to work with, and now a fantastic new friend within the fandom. I honestly could not have asked for a better person to be introduced to through this project. I hope my art helps convey the fun, challenging time I had with these illustrations, and helps to bring the story to life in the reader’s mind. We have both had an agonizing wait for this to be published, and I hope you all enjoy the story Universe has told. -- source link
