I’d imagine this kind of pearl is one that is forgotten about during it’s formation, and is left to grow for thousands of years into a huge gem that acquires many defects and abnormalities over such a long period of growth. Giant pearls are very powerful, and are fickle and capricious in nature. They rarely speak, and do not appear to possess a specific weapon, however they have very strong psychic and telekinetic abilities.
