Today is another one of those days where I’m like, “Huh? How did this happen?” I am beyond belief right now that one of my poems was published in this beautiful anthology #NotYourPrincess. I teared up a bit when I saw my work next to other amazing Indigenous women activist heroes such as Linda Hogan, Maria Campbell, Winona Laduke, Lee Maracle, Tanaya Winder, Ka'ila Farrell-Smith, Helen Knott, Nancy King, Aura Last and more. It’s an absolutely powerful book that validates the voices of so many Indigenous ladies.
