gymbunnycandiehart:Yes I Am!I’m glad that I’m girly as a boy. True, I might not appear to be girly. I might not necessarily be dressed to prove it. My voice and its inflection would probably fool most. But I’m girly and I’m glad that I am. I’m not proud that I feel the necessity to hide it from most people that I know. I’m not pleased that I spent most of my life trying to push those feelings to the side or that I felt I needed to somehow “correct” my miss-givings because “it’s not right.” But here I am, past the prime of my life, and I find more joy and self-fulfillment in simply admitting that I’m glad to be girly than when I was in my youth. Can I encourage you younger girlies? Just be happy with who you are and how you feel about yourself. Be glad that you are a human being with opportunities to love others in special ways. Be glad that you have the choice, and even more chance for that today than 20 years ago, to be more open about being true and girly. At some point in your life, you’ll have to sacrifice something. It might be some form of girliness, but it doesn’t have to be all of it. Most importantly, it doesn’t have to be your spirit of femininity.Be glad that you’re girly. I know that I am. And I’m glad that you’re girly.Have a wonderfully beautiful day, my friends.CandieHart -- source link
