The Lady of the Lake is a powerful magical being, a goddess like her sister Mab. She feels Mab’s anger is too dangerous and she wants to help Merlin defeat her and create a kingdom of peace. For this reason she will give him Excalibur and she will sugget he will find the great knight Galahad to take to Camelot. Unfortunately, Merlin thought the Lady was referring to the father, Lancelot, and not to Galahad.When Merlin fails, the Lady tells him that to fail is only human.She knows she will disappear because people will soon stop believing in her but she has accepted it as a part of her life and future.Arthurian women in tv/moviesI loved the Lady of the Lake in this film.
