We started a new part-time campaign this week where my husband is GMing and he EXPLICITLY told us “make your character WITHOUT discussing it with anyone else in the game, DO NOT influence each other, and I’m not telling you ANY plot details until everyone’s done”With that instruction I looked at him and joked “I’m a changeling trickster cleric who pretends to be a half-elf rogue”… then I went to bed, slept on it, woke up and went “no actually that wasn’t a joke”So I created Fenri. And on Thursday, played her for the first time. We had combat, because of course we did (Husbutt revealed a day or two before game that WE ALL DIED and woke up trapped in a gladiator arena place) and when it came time for Fenri to rush over and heal some one? She very loudly was like “IT’S OKAY, I know FIRST AID!” and used a healing spell but with a slight of hand check as she dabbed the wound with a cloth pretending she was just bandaging it.
