I think this is heartbreaking.  I still can’t grasp the concept of extreme hunger. How’s it possible that, on one side of the globe people are starving to death, while on the other side there are people morbidly obese? Are we that selfish?  There are people who are so wealthy, they wouldn’t even notice if they had lost a million. Though, this might be extreme, but what about you? You lose a penny and you’re like, “Well okay, no big deal.”. I find this very disturbing. There are people living in poverty in your own city! I know people who walk past these people, sitting on the sidewalk, begging. A lot of people say “Oh, but it’s their own fault!”. People make mistakes, that’s a fact. But that doesn’t mean they deserve to live on the edge of society, it doesn’t mean you have to act like they deserve it. No, they don’t. I donate a fair share of my income to charity, and I hope some of you do to. Many small bits, make one large piece. It helps. Think about this, feel free to discuss? -- source link
