This sort of containment and overcrowding for any amount of time is neglectful, improper and dangerous. Birds need adequate space, and proper air flow. Overcrowding is extremely stressful and can result in injuries. An inexperienced and borderline abusive worker hitting the tank no doubt would terrify these birds, who are likely young, scared and not used to humans. Please contact Petsmart to complain.
