If exposure to stressful stimuli over a prolonged period of time occurs and is perceivably inescapable, long-term ADAPTATIONS to the stress being experienced is what inevitably CAN & WILL occur as a result if the underlying issue is not identified and appropriate interventions aren’t put into action. .
