A shrine to the moon princess! (reblogs are welcome)Sailor Moon has been a big inspiration to me ever since I was very little, and the messages that the anime promoted continue to be part of my moral code. With all of the content attributed to Sailor Moon, you could almost say the character has become a kind of folklore deity. Personally, I like to think of Sailor Moon (or Princess Serenity, Usagi Tsukino, or Serena, whatever you prefer) as a kind of motivational guide when I need her. Part of the reason I made this picture was to create a kind of tribute to the character, to thank her for all she’s done in shaping me as a person. If your spiritual beliefs allow it, you are most welcome to use this image as a magical place of prayer! If that sounds bizarre to you, then you can totally reblog this/enjoy it for simply fan art purposes. For those who practice witchcraft or wicca, you might be interested to know that I tried to include the common “essentials” for an altar - a chalice, a food offering, a representation of a deity, a pentacle, a wand, an animal figure, plants, a magical book, candles, and crystals. The crystals are also carefully chosen (blue lace agate for Mercury, red jasper for Mars, orange tinted rose quartz for Venus, and azurite for Jupiter)((also the crystal lotus counts as a crystal, for the Moon)). -- source link
