On Jakku she told him to stop holding her hand and in this gifset shes motioning with her hand for him to take it o h m y g o dI never notice it till now . You see her reach for him . She motioning “ take my hand “I shouldn’t have to say this (but due to that idea floating around that Finn is disrespectful to Rey, I DO have to say this), but this moment is so important. It completes the trust arc. It goes from not wanting him to take her hand and lead her around, to being willing to lead him around, to actually wanting him to take her hand when she’s scared. This relationship is absolutely vital to the character growth of both of them, and it all happens with little gestures in action scenes. -- source link
