Odontophorus nanusOdontophorus is a small genus in the Aizoaceae, or Ice Plant Family, and it is among the few groups in the family that have little teeth along the leaf edges (the genus Faucaria, often called “tiger jaws”, is a better-known example of this). Odontophorus nanus makes a small clump of lumpy leaves which are covered with little “goose bumps”. This is the first time it has flowered here at the Ruth Bancroft Garden, and its very pale yellow flowers are a contrast with the vivid yellows of the other Odontophorus species we grow. From Namaqualand in northeastern South Africa.-Brian -- source link
