My pandemonium nails!Pink: Musk Have It by I Scream NailsYellow: Hedonist by Cirque ColorsBlue: Live Your Dream by CuccioThe pink and yellow have the best formulas, and only needed 2 coats to get full opacity, although the first coat was streaky for both, but that’s quite common for neons that dry matte. The blue is part of Cuccio’s Atomix collection, and all the polishes are quite sheer so I layered that one over a coat of white (quite a few of neons have thin formulas that should be layered over white to make them pop).Musk Have It is my favourite pink ever. It’s got just the right amount of white in it. Hedonist is such a fun yellow, it’s like neon sunshine. And the Atomix collection has so many amazing colours in it, and Cuccio is reasonably priced so if you’re looking for fun summer colours (and don’t mind them being sheer) I’d definitely recommend it. Hedonist is from Cirque’s Vice 2018 neon collection, which is also excellent. I don’t know whether Musk Have It is part of a collection, but it seems to be part of I Scream Nails’ core collection.Atomix:Vice 2018:In other news, I’ve been using Nailtiques Formula 2 treatment for a couple of weeks. I have really thin nails that are super bendy and almost translucent, and Formula 2 is meant to help strengthen them. It’s widely regarded as one of the best strengtheners out there. I’m not using it entirely as intended: for the first few weeks you’re meant to apply it every other day and then take it off at the end of each week, but that would mean not wearing colours for a while and I can’t do that! So I’m using 1 coat as a base coat, and then applying it every other day underneath the free edge of my nail. I can say after a couple of weeks I can already tell the difference in how bendy the nail tips are. They still bend a lot, but there’s a bit more resistance to them.
