FULL BLOOM MULTILUT FOR RESHADE - by amoebaeI’ve put together 39 (+1) LUTs and created a MultiLUT atlas to be used with the MultiLUT shader in ReShade. The screenshots above show only a couple of the myriad options available.EDIT 2021-07-11: I’ve updated this shader to use the Prod80 MultiLUT shader for 4.x. You can find details and the download here.EDIT 2019-04-27: I’ve added a new version that has 66 LUTs contained in the MultiLUT atlas. You can still use the earlier file if you’re happy with them and 66 seems unwieldy, but the original 40 are included in the new atlas, so you might as well swap it out for the new one. Both are available to download below.DOWNLOAD [simfileshare; no adfly; includes MultiLUT atlas and modified shader]Optimizing…What is this: A LUT (lookup table; see above) is a way of storing colour information to quickly and easily colour grade an image. They are used extensively in film-making, and frequently in photography. We can also use them in ReShade with either the LUT or the MultiLUT shaders. This Full Bloom atlas has 39 (+1 neutral) LUTs stuck together so they can be selected individually using the drop-down menu in the MultiLUT shader. You can apply them to any pre-existing ReShade preset to quickly change the look, or you can select one and build a whole preset around it.What this isn’t: This isn’t a full ReShade preset (although you can use any of the LUTs in this atlas alone).Optimizing…Some of the LUTs in this atlas look quite similar, but there are subtle differences between them.First on the list is a neutral LUT–this won’t change how your image looks. Next up is a neutral-ish LUT I created to tone down the strong blues in the game and give more of a blank slate from which to create a preset. The remaining 38 LUTs span a range of colour options and could theoretically be used alone in lieu of a full preset, but are best used as the foundation for one. Included at the bottom of the list are several black & white LUTs, and they all have names that begin with the letter B.The two that begin with the letter H don’t change colours but just slightly brighten the game.Optimizing…How to use: amoebae_fullbloom_multilut.png goes inside the ‘textures’ folder in ‘reshade-shaders’. I’ve included a modified MultiLUT.fx shader file that goes inside the ‘shaders’ folder in ‘reshade-shaders’. Keep a copy of your original file somewhere safe. The MultiLUT.fx shader included is for ReShade 3.4.1. You can, however, copy & paste the required sections from it into newer MultiLUT.fx shaders. The two topmost sections are the ones you need to edit/include. If you compare my file to an original MultiLUT.fx shader you should be able to spot the differences. In particular, you need to change:#ifndef fLUT_TextureName #define fLUT_TextureName “amoebae_fullbloom_multilut.png" <— this should be the name of the MultiLUT atlas you want to use.and#ifndef fLUT_LutAmount #define fLUT_LutAmount 40 <— this number should equal the amount of LUTs in your MultiLUT atlasand uniform int fLUT_LutSelector < ui_type = "combo”; ui_min= 0; ui_max=16; ui_items=“Neutral\0No Blue Neutral\0Achernar\0Alaraph\0Alchiba\0Calioth\0Calyra\0Cancri\0Canopus\0Capella\0Caph\0Cara\0Carina\0Catria\0Ceonis\0Chow\0Cunda\0Gacrux\0Gemma\0Gienah\0Gorgon\0Hassel\0Hasterion\0Macrux\0Marble\0Minkar\0Bactor\0Baham\0Baitos\0Balcor\0Banax\0Baten\0Beid\0Belium\0Bellatrix\0Biham\0Botein\0Brachium\0Bunda\0Butan”; ui_label = “The LUT to use”; ui_tooltip = “The LUT to use for color transformation. ‘Neutral’ doesn’t do any color transformation.”;> = 0;Here, ui_Items should be edited to include the names of all the individual LUTs in your MultiLUT atlas. You need to follow the format above. The names can be whatever you want as long as there are an equal number to the number of LUTs in your atlas. The names above are the ones I’ve chosen for this MultiLUT atlas.NOTE: If you are using ReShade 3.4.1 you do not need to edit anything, just download the shader I’ve included. It is possible the MultiLUT shader hasn’t changed a considerable amount between ReShade revisions, so it might work for anything 3.x. Post-4.0 you simply need to copy the sections above (copy them directly from the shader to ensure you keep the correct formatting) and paste them over their respective sections in your current shader.Optimizing…Optimizing…In-game, enable the MultiLUT shader and then select from the drop-down menu whichever LUT you want to use. This is such a lightweight and fast shader to use you can even switch LUTs quickly depending on the world you’re using, to suit the time of day, the season, or whether indoors or outdoors. If you have any questions, please let me know. -- source link
