gymbunnycandiehart: Go on an AdventureYou’ve been stuck inside for too long. I know you get out, but do you get out clothed in your girliness? It’s unhealthy, in my opinion, to keep to yourself in the security of your place without ever venturing out into open space. I get it. There is fear of being seen, ridiculed, recognized, ostracized, and demoralized. Maybe that’s what you want, but I’ll go out on a limb and suggest that for many of us who are crossdressers, we’re just not so open for being in public spaces as our feminine selves, even if there is a fantasy of “being caught”.For me, I’m not one who goes all out. I don’t have a wig anymore. I don’t have makeup. I don’t have any jewelry. Purges suck, by the way. But that doesn’t prevent me from being girly. It’s not about “passing”, as if that has ever been the true standard of being true to ourselves. It’s simply about being feminine, for me, as a boy. When I say “adventure” I mean the outdoors, not driving around town in drag, while in the confines of your car at 3:00 in the morning (yes, I’ve done that). It could be a walk down the street, a hike in the woods, a bicycle ride, a swim in the pool, or a camping trip. Anything that gets you breathing the outdoor air while immersing yourself in your femininity, expands your experience. Obviously, only wearing panties, defeats the purpose (unless that’s the only thing you’re wearing). Take the plunge and dress in nothing but women’s clothing. Be as androgynous as you’d like and be as selective of private places as much as you care. You certainly want to feel comfortable and secure. But the edge is going girly and enjoying your femininity outdoors.Honestly, I haven’t been on many great adventures like this. But the few times when I have, it has been so helpful to my spirit. I’m planning on hiking soon and that will be an awesome day. Maybe I might get even braver, if my wife will let me, and stretch my legs in a more public sphere. I can only dream what it must be like for those of you who go clubbing, dating, or dining out fully dressed as girls. I envy you and wish for such a fulfilling experience. So, what will you do? Just do it, as Nike claims. Make a plan for a special outing. Gather together your girly gear and just get out of the house. It’s your journey, your opportunity, your experience. Don’t miss out on what could be a great adventure.Have a girly day my precious friends,CandieHart -- source link
