gymbunnycandiehart: Real Men? YES! Real Men!I’m giving a rant here, so be patient with me. I see captions occasionally saying things like “Real men don’t wear panties,” or “Real men don’t dream of being a woman in bed,” and other things like that. That makes no sense. It might not be an “as normal” event, feeling, or person, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be real and it certainly doesn’t mean that a person is anything less than a real human with a real, creative, brilliant imagination. Just because a societal pressure insists on one thing doesn’t mean that it can’t be real. I’m a real man and I’m not ashamed of being girly, wearing panties, dressing like a woman, or even fantasizing that I’m a girl–at least within my agreed parameters with the misses. I know, it’s a niche. Some like to feel a sense of humiliation. I get it. But here’s the thing: isn’t this kind of rhetoric just as demeaning of women as it is an intent to demoralize a man? Women are strong but soft, exciting but elegant, sensational, sexy, compassionate, endearing, and just plain awesome. It’s not a humiliation to me to want some girliness in my life, even if I sometimes cater to that crowd in my captions and writings. Real men should want to be like women. So, whereas I understand the sentiment, I stand by the belief that a man who is true to himself could likely be in such awe of women that he constantly wishes, wants, dreams, and dresses to emulate them.Girlies, be good to yourselves; and much love to you!CandieHart PS…this was edited from a old blog post -- source link
