vesago1: Earle Leonard Nelson, aka The Gorilla Killer (The Dark Strangler) was an American serial killer.It is believed that he killed 22 or more victims.Earle was born May 12, 1897, started killing in 1926–June, 1927 where he was caught and arrested in Canada.His trial began on November 1, 1927,although Nelson’s lawyer attempted to portray Earle as mentally ill and not responsible for his crimes, the jury found Nelson guilty and sentenced him to death.
