reverience: A spell to enhance love The purpose of this spell is to magically grow the love that exists between you and another person. It doesn’t necessarily have to be romantic love; I’ve used it for friends and family too. *A short note on the ethics of love spells. I personally don’t believe in casting spells to make someone feel something if they don’t already. I have cast such spells in the past and it never works out well. Hence, this is an enhancement spell. You are more than welcome to customize this spell for your own intentions, but if your intentions are to create new love, this might not be the most effective spell for you. Essentially, this spell doesn’t plant the seed, it simply waters the seed that has already been planted. Good luck! You’ll need: A candle in a color you associate with love (red, pink, etc) Incense you associate with love (musk, rose, etc) A piece of rose quartz A bowl A piece of paper and something to write with Lavender or rose petals A small pouch/sachet Optional: Other love-related herbs, depending on the specifics of your intentions Make your usual preparations, whether it’s casting a circle, meditating, praying to your deities. Set up your ritual space. The bowl should be in the center of the altar/space. The rose quartz should be below the bowl (closest to you), the incense to the left of the bowl, the candle above the bowl (so that you’re not reaching across the flame). I also use a seashell to my right, to balance out the elements. Light your incense and your candle. Take the piece of paper and write your name and the name of the person you want to be closer to. I cut my paper into the shape of a flower and wrote our names in the center with a red pen. You don’t have to do that, but it helped me focus on the growth aspect of this spell. You could use anything that represents the two of you, like a picture, a ticket or receipt from a date. Put the paper in the center of the bowl and concentrate on your relationship and the feelings you share. Try to focus that energy into a tight little ball or a seed. Say: “[Name of the person], you are a friend, we are a pairI treasure you and the bond we shareThis spell shall bring us closer stillOur love shall grow, this is my will” You can change out “friend” for whatever word describes your relationship (lover, sister, etc). Take the lavender and/or rose petals and sprinkle them into the bowl over the paper. Imagine the energy of the flower flowing into the paper, helping it to grow. Say: “As the flower grows, so shall our love” You can add extra herbs depending on your intent for the spell. The last time I cast this spell for a new beau, I added catnip (for extra love), cinnamon (for extra sexy spice), and nutmeg (for extra luck). I stated those intentions when I added them to the bowl. Just avoid any liquids. If you really want to use a particular liquid or oil, you can anoint the candle beforehand. Once everything’s added, imagine the energy filling up the bowl. Let the paper soak up all of the energy, like a plant soaking up water. You can close the spell by saying: “My intentions are pure, my love is trueAnd I have seen the same love in youI call forth the love that you bear for meAs I will it, so shall it be” Empty the contents of the bowl into your small pouch and picture the energy going into the bag as well. Fold the paper if you have to. Ideally, it should be small enough to carry in your pocket, so that you can have it on you the next time you see this person. If they are aware of your witchy proclivities, you can give it to them. Otherwise, keep it somewhere safe. You can recharge it with your energy if you ever feel the need. If you need to end the spell for whatever reason, bury the pouch on a night of the waning moon, and say an undoing spell. -- source link
