hspn:Bonus awesome photo: Eleven-a-side, a photograph by Frank Hurley.Australian photographer Hurley was part of explorer Ernest Shackleton’s Endurance voyage that was stranded in the Antarctic in October 1914. He documented their survival on hundreds of glass plates until the entire crew’s rescue twenty-two months later. The full collection of photographs is worth seeing, but I especially like the one of the crew playing football in the Antarctic. -- source link
