I started this pair of breeches a few months ago and then abandoned them for a bit, but now they’re finished! They’re about half machine sewn and half by hand.18th century breeches don’t usually have contrasting pieces like this, but I found one 1788 fashion plate where they do. And I was using up a not-very-good piece of slubby silk which I didn’t have quite enough of, so I did the kneebands, waistband, and plackets in black. -- source link
