My final painting using acrylics for #brushtober week 4! I wanted to try some more dramatic highlights and shadows before wrapping this week up, so I found a ref image with some cool lighting and painted this. I worked on a larger sheet this time and my brush strokes are a bit looser as a result. This was by far the hardest medium to work in so far! It was such a struggle to find my workflow in acrylics, but I feel like I finally found a way to make it work by loosening up a bit. This final week of #brushtober I am going to use gouache, which I’ve been super excited to try! -- source link
