Couple of doodles of my vampires, August and Rokwood, a Ventrue and a Gangrel respectively. August’s the governess of her city, she mainly controls it via the Caitiff and the Nosferatu. Underneath the Roman inspired robes is a suit, under that’s body armor, but no one really knows (until it’s too late). Rokwood is this leader of a pack, she considers the forest surrounding the city and its freeway fair game to hunt (humans, Kindred, everyone). Their relationship is pretty illicit, August has kept a very tight hold on her city for a while, and has been making moves to get Rokwood under control. It was a bit of a personal challenge! See if there’s a way to get this unruly Gangrel to cooperate/benefit the area without killing it, eventually she made it sheriff of the area in the forest in order to keep tabs on her. She sends suspected Sabbat in there as a makeshift execution. They do both find each other very physically attractive, plus they have traits the other admires/envies, so they start secretly screwing on the side.Are they in love?? Are they using each other? Little bit of both? Nobody knows, probably not even them. August’s quite fond of Rokwood, but she needs a reliable way to keep her under control. Rokwood’s fond of August, but August pulling her into political visibility (mainly as another means of control) is starting to piss her off. She sees a lot of ruthlessness in August that she’s sort of drawn to, August sees a calculated streak in Rokwood that she enjoys see flash past the usual uncouth farce.It’s pretty complicated between them. It’s hard not to get pissed off at the other, it’s hard not to be really attracted to the other, and it’s hard not to admire the other. -- source link
