I feel like I’m on top of the world. I’m taking this moment to extend unconditional love and gratitude to those that have supported me through this campaign, those who shared it with friends, those who contributed monetarily, those who weren’t able to, but reached out to encourage me and tell me what my music means to them, it really breaks me down in the best of ways. I can not thank you enough, but THANK YOU. A lot of you have been here since the day Siren was released, and a lot of you are new….I’m elated to continue this journey with every single one of you. I promise to continue to create art that means something, that incites positive change in your lives and my own and to never, ever give up. I know I wasn’t at the Grammys tonight, but for something like this to happen on such a huge night in music, especially with all the beautiful works of art that were celebrated, I definitely feel like I won.
