In the first one, Cas is seemingly unresponsive while Dean is just so happy to see him that his smile there is just one of the most genuine smiles I’ve seen on the show. Then it becomes almost a grimace in relief, or fear of losing him again.Look at Castiel in that second gif. Eagerly pulling Dean into a hug, smiling (which is already a rare occurrence) and holding him tight. Then he shuts his eyes in what could either be relief or comfort or both or something else I don’t know but just LOOK at how much it affects him. He’s been worried about Dean since he discovered the mark. And now Dean’s here, safe, unharmed (as far as he can tell) and in his arms.I might cry. -- source link
