miasandelle:May I share one of my favourite films with you. I think some of the reasons are obvious why I absolutely adore Billy Crudup and Claire Danes together, wearing what they wear. It’s gorgeous to look at, funny, naughty, incredibly sad and uplifting and well worth a watch . Check it out if you can, from me to fellow shippers of cuties in corsets.I just saw this and it is, emphatically, A Lot. As can be inferred from the cast list, the acting is both excellent and delightful. I did not know I needed Hugh Bonneville as Samuel Pepys in my life, but I absolutely did. Giant trigger warnings for angst about gender identity, but the cinematography is deliciously smart and sly and wise about gender as performative and embodied. Also the two protagonists are so pretty. So very, very pretty. And there’s Shakespeare! -- source link
