dietdiscourse: dietdiscourse: dietdiscourse: dietdiscourse: dietdiscourse: I know everyone is going through very hard times and I’m so sorry to ask but yesterday right before my shift as i crossed the street to get to work, a white suv ran the red light right in front my work place hitting me on the left side of the hip throwing me about 4 feet away on the pavement. The driver took off and i frankly dont remember much of how I got to the ER. Thankfully things could have gone way worse, i mostly have a contracture by wiplash on the neck, some swalling on the hip and lower back, stiffness and pain while sitting, bruises, scratches and cuts, it could have been so much worse. Unfortunately I won’t be able to work for (hopefully only) a week, but because my shift had not started and the accident was outside the company, in order to be considered a in-transit work accident the whole thing has to be investigated, also the videos from nearby cameras have to be retrieved and all that to also file the report with the police, this will make my next paycheck to take between 15 to 20 extra days. Im my house only support, my mom hasn’t been able to get a job since she got brain surgery due to brain cancer treatment last year. I work over 48 hours weekly and we barely get by, i get paid in pesos about 400 dlls monthly but my rent is 180 dlls and charged in dollars and with the sudden rise on the dollar that amount is way harder to pay… i dont wanna end up homeless again im really really trying my best to get back to work as soon as possible but i have no way to rush all the paperwork for my payment… so any help is greatly appreciated. My paypal is cats.and.lollipops@gmail.com and there should b le a donate button on my blog you can ignore this if you want but please keep any mean spirited to yourselves, I’m in enough distress as it is since because of previous psychiatric diagnosis on my file it took so much to get medical assistance and this has been the hardest day thank you just a quick small reminder, you dont have to convert to pesos, since my landlord charges the rent in dollars is way more convenient to just send it to him directly on dollars, not to mention dollars are worth waaay more than pesos rn, pesos are worth less and less by the day, thank you my work place finally gave me the paperwork showing i was on my way to work when the accident happened and that i need to barely start the process to request my payment for the days i havent been able to work :/ hopefully things will maybe start moving quicker, thank you everyone for your support The social security office made me file a police report, as i thought it took all day sitting in pain in uncomfortable plastic chairs and i’m so so exhausted and in pain but at least now I have legal documentation of my injuries I was told it’s extremely unlikely they’ll even look for who did it but at least now social security should start the process to pay me, my next appointment with that office is until november 16th and i’m still considered unfit for work and mainly heavily medicated to stand the pain, I’m so incredibly touched by the help i’ve gotten, im so sorry if i havent been able to answer some messages, since tuesday the time i havent spend at a hospital or a police precinct ive been knocked out by pain medication since it’s p much the only way i can get some sleep… thank you all truly :’) please help me at least boosting, I have to pay rent before the 19th and I haven’t received any donations since the 11th, I’m really worried -- source link
