isquirtmilkfrommyeye:Most of the time when I post something unusual Nintendo has made it’s pretty old and from around the NES area but here’s something fairly new.Nintendo partnered with the world famous Louvre, a museum in Paris that houses some of the worlds finest pieces of art including the Mona Lisa and the statue of David, to release this virtual tour. Players can tour the museum through the screen of the 3ds and be read descriptions of the art prices. Think of it like a Google street view for the museum. Visitors of the real, physical Louvre, are able to rent a 3ds and use this “game” as a personal tour guide. Which is great, because when I was there, I was surprised to find that although the description cards at each artifact display 4 languages, none of them are English! Altough the case has a British flag on it, the game works on American 3ds’s. It is ONLY available in Paris at the Louvre itself. It has a great bit of detail and even the painting on the cover art is textured to make it look like it was painted onto a canvas. -- source link
