I reject yikes and all its works. It’s been good here, these last seven years. This is the first social media platform I ever had more than 10 followers on. It’s the first platform I made friends on. And I have made very good friends indeed. I appreciate every single one of you – if I follow you, it’s because I enjoy doing so, and I like knowing about your lives, your breakfasts, even, though this is pushing it, your pets. And I appreciate all the nice things you’ve ever said about me. In fact, I keep a folder with them screenshotted, for bad days, and recently I read them, and was nearly moved to tears. I won’t say you’ve all kept me alive; but I will say that when I am sad, which, I know, is frequently, it makes me at least a little bit happier to come here and see you and get reassurance from you that I’m not The Worst.
