redkilt:STEERING WHEEL, JAMIE.Jamie comes from the 18th century. He’s learned a hell of a lot since he’s been with the Doctor - he’s seen cars operated, so he knows what their controls look like. But he hasn’t got the vocabulary to describe that technology. And I love that about him - why would he know the phrase ‘steering wheel’? So he mimes it instead.
