congenitaldisease: 17-year-old Natalie Henderson excelled in school. She dreamed of being an architect and had a phenomenal singing voice and skillfully played thee guitar. Her boyfriend, 17-year-old Carter Davis, wanted to become an aeronautical engineer. He spent his afternoons playing lacrosse and stood up for his friends. On the 1st of August, 2016, they were both shot dead. The young couple had been sitting in their car behind a Publix grocery store at approximately 3AM. 20-year-old Jeffrey Hazelwood stared at them from afar before covering his face with a Guy Fawkes mask and approaching the car, armed with a gun. He forced the couple out of the car and immediately shot Carter in the head, later confessing that he was afraid of him being able to fight him off. Jeffrey then forced Natalie to strip naked before he assaulted her. Following the assault, Jeffrey shot her dead and posed her nude body in a sexually explicit position before stealing the couple’s money. Due to cctv footage, Jeffrey was quickly apprehended. Additionally, his mobile phone usage placed him at the crime scene at the time of the murder. Throughout his trial, Jeffrey acted quite peculiar. He very frequently twitched his head, and rocked back and forth. At one point, Jeffrey started to pet and chat to an imaginary dog which he believed to be sitting on his lap.
