thefingerfuckingfemalefury:sonicblueranger:thefingerfuckingfemalefury:thatchickwiththegifs:If Marvel is humans becoming gods, DC is gods becoming human. And this is that done right. This reminded me of what’s wonderful about DC and why its characters are still timeless. When done correctly, it blends myth with reality, the ordinary with the extraordinary, mortal with immortal. It’s the closest we have to current Greek mythology. It’s honest. It’s powerful. It lasts forever. This is the movie that made me remember why I love DC in the first place. NC: Wonder WomanThis is honestly the most genuinely happy I think I’ve ever seen the Nostalgia Critic :DEven a man who basically lives on a diet of rage and snark thinks that Wonder Woman is a FRICKING AMAZING MOVIE Awesome. Although I wish Doug would stop doing Movies that are currently in theaters.I get that it’s because they’re relevant right now but it’s not like it won’t still be relevant when it’s out on DVD/Blu-Ray.BTW I have nothing against skits and actually love that the NC has other people to play off. I just can’t stand these clipless reviews. I’m okay with it now and then, but I wouldn’t want all his reviews to become ones of movies that are out now or that are very recent because yeah, I like the comments on silly clips from older films tooThat said, it is nice to get to see him get to review a movie that he actually enjoyed here…after all he’s had to sit through (Including the remake of the Wicker Man and M Night Shymalan’s entire film output, god help him) it’s nice that he got to review something he enjoyed It’d be clipless whether it was in the cinema or not. Channel awesome, along with most other monetised reviewers, have been going as clipless as they possibly can for awhile now because youtube’s insanely overzealous bots ignore Fair Use and their setups mean it usually costs them a lot of money to get flagged. Every clip is a financial risk and Channel Awesome have already been burned. -- source link
