cornflakepizza:jonahisdeadly:So this here is the little bat we’re currently taking care of (we’re running a batshelter). He fell out of his nest and his mother didn’t come to get him so a very kind lady brought him to us after consulting how to give him maximum oportunities to get back to his folks. He’s the equivalent of a teenager and acts like it.First thing he did when I picked him up was loudly anounce his displeasure at the circumstances and try to bite me (which haha, jokes on you, only the biggest and boldest bats of your kind are able to pinch human skin hard enough to smart, better grow up some more). He is very lively and has excellent chances to get back into wilderness. Also I named him Damian because he’s a little shit. My little shit.Important: If you ever find a bat outside of its hiding spot make sure it’s save from predators and imediatly consult whoever is in charge of bats/animal-rescue in your area. Also if you have to pick it up be carefull as they are extremely fragile! And please don’t buy into the rumours I hear from time to time about bats attacking people, they couldn’t care less about you as long as you leave them alone.OH MY GOD! He’s so small and fuzzy omggggg. The captions omg hahaha. What a little shit omg Damian is the PERFECT name for him. -- source link
