SJ LIngerie ‘Anäis’ Bra and Brief. A beautiful alternative to the average wirefree ‘comfortable day-to-day’ set, there is much to love about Anäis. First of all: The color. A pure, rich and true ruby, like the actual blood of thy enemies! Said formidable shade of lust and vengeance is highlighted nicely with the textural differences of the matte lace, shiny silk and velvet trim. The majority of these pieces are in the lace. The silk is under the bust and crotch and the velvet trim in on the waist, underbust and straps and the hardware is gold-tone metal- a beautiful touch. The high brief is one of my favourite cuts. It’s very on-trend and flattering due to the leg-lengthening effect and sitting on the true waist. The bra is extremely comfortable and an accurate fit, though it is a minimal support style due to no underwire or shaping to the cup apart from the seam that runs central across the bust. I ordered the Small brief and Medium bra and both fit perfectly. The brief has an awesome cut out back detail which exposes the lower back. Hot in a chic and subtle way! I love this set, SJ excels at being a demi-luxury indie label that continually produces style after style of ‘just-quirky-enough’ Cool Girl Sexy.
