vintagegeekculture:Figwit, a background extra elf with no dialogue from the first Lord of the Rings movies, who got a tremendous amount of female fan attention in the early 2000s. His standing in the background got attention because he was handsome, dark, and mysterious. I suspect part of the reason he was so “very mysterious” is that he had no dialogue at all and was on screen for only a few seconds. He was played by New Zealand local Brett McKenzie, who years later, went on to be in “Flight of the Conchords.” -- source link
