This is evident from the hand-painted silk wall panels to the hand-tufted rugs woven with a metallic yarn featuring designs by Manhattan-based artist Christina Wang. Elsewhere patterns and craft techniques are complemented with textures inspired by natural skins, from crocodile and lizard to shagreen and ostrich, alluding to coveted fashion accessories.
