cremia:peteseeger:thotty-dumbass:paper-mario-wiki:i love that Nintendo’s E3 presentation is always a far cry from all the other E3 presentations. it’s such a nice change of pace.They.. still do thoughNintendo is nice and all and I like their games but let’s not mistake the pr side of the company with the actual development sideY’all are blind if you think Nintendo has no culture of overwork or crunch, just last year Sakurai was talking about how he was working unhealthy hours developing Smash, and for people lower down the food chain that’s gonna be both worse and mandatorytheres also not even any reason to believe that nintendo delayed animal crossing to avoid crunch as opposed to delaying animal crossing just cause they didnt think they could finish it at the pace they were going even while crunching, people just saw it got delayed and immediately assumed that it must be for the betterment of the workers because its nintendo and theyre my good friendly game dad and theres never been any reports of their employees being overworked. not to mention the delay logic doesnt apply to big titles like pokemon which will ship without key features fans want (basic stuff like ‘let me bring my pokemon into this game like i always have been able to do before’) just so they can get it out by christmas sales and if you dont think theyre crunching their workers already for that youre naive -- source link
