lelaphantnotbroccolisaur:aboatmaleprivilege:Well, there’s always Power Girl with her sidekick Tactless Boob Window…Guys, you do realize this entire episode was about how modern day feminism has devolved into mindless man hate? That woman is a supervillain who’s basically a radical feminist. She teaches the powerpuff girls to find oppression in everything. For instance, the professor asks them to clean their rooms, and they berate him for assuming it’s a woman’s place to clean. Never mind the fact that he just finished cleaning the entire house and only asked them to do their part. Femme Fatale continues to rob banks, but convinces the girls that putting a fellow sister in jail would be wrong. After all, they have to stand together to fight the evil men. By the end of the episode, the girls realize that Femme Fatale isn’t a good person. Just because she claims to be a feminist doesn’t mean she actually cares about equal rights. They take her to jail, and learn a valuable lesson about equality. Namely, just because there may still be harmful stereotypes about women, fighting back with violence and general douchebaggery only makes things worse. -- source link
