I’m sure I’ll have a client that will want to keep all the wood panelling in a room of theirs, and I think this house is a great example of working with the existing (traditional) architecture and still making it modern through furniture. This is Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren’s (of Viktor & Rolf) Amsterdam home. Definitely more subdued than the mini-operatic runway shows they produce, their home is a stage for their life. Despite the grand coffered ceilings and parquet flooring intermingling with classic modern furniture, the home has an overall utilitarian feel.} -- source link
