{Had the chance to eat here with a couple of friends last Friday, and the food was just as good as these interiors! Designed by a favourite, Munge Leung, the atmosphere (and the menu) is neo-Parisian, with ornately patterned porcelain floors and creamy, gleaming marble. The space is divided into a formal dining room, a more casual bar, a soon-to-open cafe and bakery, and a large patio. While the ceiling is decorated with moulding designs, it is kept open, exposing the ductwork and the industrial history of the building (the restaurant is located in Toronto’s historic Distillery District). It would be interesting to compare this take on a French restaurant, with Roman and Williams’ Lafayette.} -- source link
