Why Lingerie Knockoffs are Actually a Good Thing…For Everyone, Designers Included. This was sparked by a post I saw on Tumblr a few weeks back involving a perpetual copycatter, Forever 21 and their “new designs” which were quite blatantly copied from the original pieces made by Knickerrocker. At first site, this really annoyed me. Knickerrocker is only a small independent label and Forever21 doesn’t even credit them in the designs. But then I looked into it a bit more and began to realize something, we need copycatting in this industry. We thrive on it. -- source link
