{A double shot of retail therapy, courtesy of H&H fave Aesop. Melbourne architects March Studio designed these two shops - the first in Paris, the second in Singapore - and you see that in both stores, there is a single major design move that defines each project. That is, there’s a minimal use of material variety, but the chosen material is implemented to create dramatic impact! The store in Paris, inspired by parquet flooring, utilizes 3,500 pieces of wood that jut out from the walls in various depths. The store in SIngapore uses 30 km of coconut-husk string from the ceiling that recalls the twine used to tie the company’s gift boxes.} -- source link
